Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I cannot sign into my SeeSallySew.com account with my password.  Why?

A: We have moved our store from Intuit to BigCommerce as our server.  As a result, former customers will need to reset their passwords.  Please click on Forgot Your Password.  Then type in your Email Address, click Continue, go into your Inbox and open the email from us to reset your password.

Q: How do I search for a pattern in our large inventory?

A: Click into the Search box located at the top right of the Home Page.  Type in manufacturer's name, pattern numbers or key words and then click Search.  A selection of potential patterns will appear.  Click on the pattern that best meets your needs.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?

A: We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.  Your credit card information is protected by Stripe and none of your information is shared with us.  PayPal is also accepted.  Checks and Money Orders are no longer accepted since it often takes too long to complete your shopping experience.

Q: How do I purchase a pattern?

A: Click on Add to Cart to the desired pattern and you are taken to a window that indicates that the pattern was added to the cart.  Then it asks what you want to do next.  You can proceed to Checkout to make a credit card payment, use Checkout with Paypal, Continue Shopping or View or Edit Cart. It is much easier to navigate than ever before.

Q: I placed a pattern in my cart. But when I continue to shop, it no longer shows up.  Why?

A:  When you place an item in your Shopping Cart, it has been removed from our inventory while you continue shopping. If you return to our site you will no longer see it as it is held for you and your payment.

Q: What do I do if there is a problem with my payment?

Q: How can I view the status of my order?

A: You will receive an email when you are successful with your purchase and again when your patterns have been mailed.  You can always click on My Account, Order Status, Wish Lists, View Cart and Sign Out tabs at the top of the Home Page for further information and for logging out.

Q: What are your shipping costs?

A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs when you Proceed to Checkout.  It will show the cost of shipping according to the weight of your items.  Please click this Ship by Weight estimate to complete your purchase.

Q: How can I receive my order the next day or within a couple days?

A: Contact us directly at 1-780-453-6029 or sales@seesallysew.com with your request. You will be emailed with the available options at an extra cost with Canada Post.

Q:  How long until I receive my pattern with regular Canada Post?

A:  According to Canada Post, delivery to destinations outside of Canada can be between 4-14 business days.  This does not include weekends and holidays.

Q: GST has been added to my Grand Total.  Why?

A:  If you are a Canadian resident or have your purchase mailed to a Canadian address, GST (federal tax) will be automatically added to your bill.  This is collected and submitted to Revenue Canada at the end of our tax year.  U.S. and International customers do not pay GST.
